IBPS Bank Exam Notification 2011

Institute of Banking Personal Selection IBPS have released the notification for the written examination to recruit for the officer posts in Various banks in India . It is a common Written Examination which is being held by IBPS and this is being held in the name of CDWE and it will be held for 2 times in a year.

Banks that accept this scores for recruitment in there Banks:

Allahabad bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of Maharashtra, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab and Sindh Bank, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, UCO Bank, Vijaya Bank.

The posts that will be recruited by this exam are: Probationary Officers/Management Trainees.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be Graduates.

Age: The candidates age should be between 20 to 30 years.

The Validity of this Score cards : IBPS will issue the Score cards for the Eligible candidates according to merit and this score cards  will be Valid for 1 year. If the candidate wants improve his/her Score can again appear for the exam for improvement of score in that particular year.( exam is conducted two times in a year).

Exam pattern:

The exam will be conducted in Objective method and there will be 250 Questions and should be completed in 150 minutes. This questions are categorized as follows:

Reasoning – 50 Questions and  50 marks

English Language – 50 Questions and 25 marks

Competitive Aptitude – 50 Questions and 50 marks

General Awareness – 50 Questions and 50 marks

Computer Knowledge – 50 marks and 50 Questions

and there will be again Descriptive paper for 25 marks and in this there will be English Composition, Essay, Letter Writing etc., will be there and about 60 minutes time will be assigned so finally the total marks are 250.

Banks that are mentioned above comes under CDWE and whenever they have vacancy’s in there banks they publish the notifications and eligibility criteria required in respect of Education qualification, Age, Experience (if required) and thereby the candidates are requested to apply for there banks if they are eligible and should send applications to them.
